Into The Hair is a warm, independent publication for anyone navigating hair loss, changing density, wigs, toppers or a complicated relationship with their hair.
We began with a simple belief: practical information matters, but so does hearing another person say, “I have been there too.” Our stories bring those needs together without turning hair loss into a beauty problem to solve.
What we make
Hair Confessionals
Honest first-person stories, told in the contributor’s own voice.
Life With Hair Loss
Relationships, work, confidence, family and the life surrounding hair loss.
The Hair Edit
Clear, brand-neutral guides designed to be genuinely useful.
The Hair She Wears
Profiles of real people and the choices they make about their hair.
The Unspoken
Our original interview series about hair, identity and what is rarely said aloud.
Latest Stories
New reporting, practical answers and community perspectives from across the journal.
How the work is cared for
Individual contributor names appear in a story’s byline when the writer chooses to be credited. Stories without an individual byline are published by Into The Hair.
A digital, community-led publication
Into The Hair is currently a digital-first, remote publication. We do not publish a public walk-in office address.
Our contributors and readers bring perspectives from different places, backgrounds and stages of hair loss.
